A note from the founder

The idea for lytmatr emerged from years of witnessing the gaps – between what the world needs and what the media reflects, between truth and narrative, and between fear and deeper knowing.
My early exposure to global inequality – including the aftermath of conflict and economic collapse in 1990s Maputo, the shadow economies of migration in Rome, and aid diverted for profit in the street markets of Khartoum – left a lasting imprint. These experiences shaped my path: from studying economics, global politics, and environmental sustainability to working in geopolitics and international development.
For years, I consumed news excessively, trying to make sense of a rapidly changing world. But eventually I realised that the news cycle’s relentless loop of fear, bias, and division wasn’t informing me. It was depleting me.
lytmatr is my response. A convergence of inner alignment and outward observation. A space to track what’s unfolding through people, systems, and evolving states of awareness, and to share stories and reflections that carry the frequency of what’s next. It’s an invitation to reclaim how we engage with truth, with one another, and with the world we’re co-creating.
If you’ve ever felt that there must be a better way, you’re right. It’s already here.
Welcome.
